Did you know that a rose’s color defines it’s meaning?
This should have been obvious, but to those who don’t know, roses have always been assumed to represent romance, but that isn’t always the case. Roses come in many different shades of hot colors ranging from traditional red, to light peach and coral. Here are a few examples:
Red roses symbolize love and romance; a perfect gift for that special someone in your life. Pink roses however, represent friendship along with yellow roses. White roses represent new beginnings, so they are mainly used in weddings. Peach roses are used to show appreciation so be sure to use these if you want to send a “thank you” note to someone! Lavender roses are a bit tricky to describe, but think of it as saying “I love you” to a friend.
