Dreams & Nightmares

When most people wake up in the morning, they either immediately forget what they dreamed of, are questioning their subconsciousness, or they woke up in a cold sweat from a nightmare. Dreams and nightmares are mainly ignored due to the fact that we forget about them or they were just too random or personal to talk about, but have you ever stopped and try to analyze them?

I know it sounds crazy, but hear me out. Dreams and nightmares should not be ignored if you remember them. Even if you only remember small bits and pieces of one, analyze every single detail you can, because whatever is going on in that dark section of your brain shows itself when we sleep. If you connect the dots to the symbolism behind all of the people/objects in your dream, it creates a story that only you can relate to.

When we analyze our dreams, we look into our subconsciousness, and doing that can help you figure out how to solve problems you’ve been having in the real world. It’s kind of like hypnotherapy except you’re the therapist and you get to keep your secrets and darkest memories to yourself.

Like I’ve said before though, analyzing dreams won’t automatically solve all of your problems for you. Through seeing our suppressed emotions, thoughts and memories, we can learn the step by step process into making our lives slightly better. (Plus you can get a proper understanding of yourself and why you see things differently from others).
